A project for schools and educational institutions to receive sports equipment in return for collecting e-waste.
Schools and educational institutions can dispose of unwanted and non-functioning electrical equipment easily and free of charge. Hand them over to us, as part of the project Balls for WEEE.
HOW TO DO IT?
- gather e-waste in one place
- send an electronic request for e-waste removal
- wait for a notification email with the exact date of removal
- on the day of removal, load the e-waste into the vehicle provided

- we will send you various sporting goods, according to the amount of e-waste handed over in one collection

Old electrical equipment and used batteries (not car batteries).
WHEN can you hand in e-waste and used batteries?
Throughout 2024.
WHO can participate?
All schools and educational institutions throughout Slovakia:
- kindergartens
- primary and secondary schools
- universities
- primary art schools
- language schools
- boarding schools
- re-education establishments
- children’s homes and boarding schools
- leisure time centres
- other institutions providing education and training for children and young people
WHY collect with us?
- free removal of e-waste and used batteries directly from your premises
- we will issue you with a receipt for depreciation and accounting purposes
- you will receive sporting equipment according to the quantity collected
- in addition, you receive a series of audio recordings “Do not throw everything into one bag!” about the correct sorting of municipal waste, which you can use in eco-education or on school radio
- you will receive a Green Certificate including a logo** (you can put it on your website) confirming your active approach to environmental protection
- 1 extra football if you hand in 100 kg of used batteries (not car batteries) together with your e-waste
- you protect the environment and save mineral resources – the e-waste you hand over to us will not end up in landfills, but in recycling plants where it will be turned into secondary raw materials

- more than 660 tonnes of WEEE were taken away
