The third school year we are collaborating with non-profit organisation DAPHNE on a successful project “We Collect Used Batteries with Šmudlo”.
Pre-school kids are taught by their friend Šmudlo why it is important to collect domestic waste, specially used batteries.
The project in numbers (March 2017 – December 2019):
- 293 kindergartens are involved into the project
- 12 500 kids received training
- 722 teaching hours
- 30 500 kids involved in collection of used batteries
- almost 32 tons of used batteries collected
